Hidden Britain

Emma worked with community development charity, Hidden Britain, across a 3 month period from June 2014 providing marketing communications support for a range of projects:

  • Managed Hidden Britain’s social media presence on Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin. Created a communications plan to ensure timely and relevant content was shared with followers
  • Developed and executed a targeted new business campaign
  • Created and delivered a quarterly subscribers e-newsletter
  • Created and published articles for the Hidden Britain blog
  • Managed website updates using a content management system
  • Supported colleagues by carrying out marketing audits for destinations ahead of their participation in Hidden Britain’s Develop workshops
  • Managed attendance at the Association of Town & City Management Expo and represented Hidden Britain at the event in Manchester
  • Reviewed and developed monthly marketing reports to ensure all channels were adequately monitored and key performance indicators were benchmarked and tracked
  • Researched and planned a Crowdfunder campaign
  • Provided feedback to the Hidden Britain team on business toolkits

“Emma ensured she fitted into the Hidden Britain culture very quickly and was an effective member of our team from day one. We very much appreciated her ability to bring to bear robust marketing and communications discipline as well as her experience from other clients to enrich our activity and drive improved results. We would love to work with Emma again in the future and would have no hesitation in recommending her services.”
